Saturday Family Fun Days

Saturday Family Fun Days (SFFD) will consist of a guided Nature Walk through some portion of the Bray Hollow Conservancy followed by participation in one of a variety of Nature Art/Craft activities. These are T.A.C.O. (Take A Child Outside) related events and are under the guidance of nature interpreter, Leah Connell. All events will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
The 2012 schedule is below:
January 14 – Nature Walk followed by a craft that involves the recycling of greeting cards.
February 11 – Nature Walk followed by a related nature-craft activity. Register Below!
March 10 – Nature Walk followed by a related nature-craft activity.
April – No SFFD due to 2nd Annual Space & Astronomy Day on April 14.
March 10 – Nature Walk followed by a related nature-craft activity.
May 12 – Nature Walk followed by a related nature-craft activity.
June 9 – Nature Walk followed by a related nature-craft activity.
July 14 – Nature Walk followed by a related nature-craft activity.
Each event will start at the Science and Nature Learning Center. The charge for these activities is $5.00/adult, $3.00/child (13 and under). At least one parent/guardian is expected to attend with each family group.
Due to the size limitations of our facilities, a maximum of only 25 individuals can be accepted for each SFFD. Therefore, it will be necessary to pre-register for each event at least 24 hours in advance.
