The Google Map below is interactive and can help in providing you directions to the A Time for Science location in southern Pitt County at the Bray Hollow Conservation Easement and Pitt County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Simply click on the red marker below, click on Get Directions and put in your city, state (ie Greenville, NC). Alternatively, you can also go to Google Maps here and put in your starting location. Directions to other event locations will be listed with those events.
From Greenville, NC:
- Take highway 11 south toward Kinston, NC.
- Look for the Pepsi Bottling plant on your right
- Immediately past that is Jacksontown Road
- Take Jacksontown west – to the right (Don’t turn into Pepsi Way – the truck entrance)
- Go through two closely spaced stop signs
- About 1/4 mi farther Jacksontown Rd veers hard to the left.
- Don’t turn but, instead, go straight into Contentnea Creek Estates
- About 1/4 mi farther you will see a brown house on the right
- At that point slow down, proceed around the curve to the left and immediately turn left into the first driveway (you’ll see a mailbox just after the driveway)
- Enter the driveway proceed past the gardens and before you get to the redtip hedge park on the grass to the left.
